Jennifer Abele was born and
raised in Moorhead Minnesota and received her
undergraduate degree in Psychology from Moorhead
State University. Once married, she and her husband
moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she began her
career in Substance Abuse Counseling. (SAC)
Moving to Eau Claire after four years, she continued
her SAC work and became certified by the Department
of Regulation and Licensing in Wisconsin.
Desiring an opportunity to broaden her scope of
practice, Jennifer began working with premarital
couples through her church in 2003 and is PrePare/Enrich
certified.
In 2005, Jennifer returned to graduate school and
obtained her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family
Therapy and is a member of the American Association
for Marriage and Family Therapy. Jennifer
enjoys working with individuals suffering from
anxiety, depression, addiction, financial stress,
struggling with weight or health issues, parenting
concerns, as well as communication skills and
conflict resolution.
