About Bob:
Bob is an Associate Prof. and Dean emeritus, having been a faculty member at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire for 34 years. He has been a licensed professional counselor since the inception of registration for counselors in Wisconsin, and has been a therapist at Heinz psychological services for seven years. In his practice Bob is committed to meeting individuals where they are and assisting them to make helpful changes that benefit and improve their quality of life. He uses a wide variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
A longtime Eau Claire resident, Bob has been active in Boy Scouts and has been a member of the Eau Claire Kiwanis Club for 35 years. He spent almost 10 years on the Eau Claire City Council serving as vice president, and was president and a member of the board of health for over six years. Since retirement from UW-Eau Claire, he has also done forensic court work for the Department of Health and Family Services, and served as military and family life consultant at Fort McCoy for two years.
He and his wife Bonnie have two grown children and five grandchildren. |
